Join National Wreaths Across America Day December 19, 2020


Each December National Wreaths Across America coordinates a wreath-laying ceremony to honor fallen U.S. Veterans who have served this nation. It's a time to raise awareness and honor those who have fallen with a wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,100 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.

Every Quarter, the Commanding Officer (CO) of Naval Support Activity Monterey (NSAM) Capt. Paul Dale recognizes those Sailors and Civilians for their exemplary performances and Length of Service. NSAM personnel received awards during a ceremony held Oct. 27: Civilian Service Achievement Medal (NSAM Civilian of the Year); CO Letter of Commendation (Civilian of the 4th Quarter); Safety Spotlight Award; Good Conduct Medal; and Lengths of Service (5 years to 40 years). Congratulations to all our winners for a job well done!

COVID-19 Testing Sites

There are several COVID-19 pop-up testing sites available. Please see the following dates and locations:

NSAM Religious Ministry Program to Offer Online Sunday Services

The Naval Support Activity Monterey (NSAM) Religious Ministry Program will be hosting virtual Protestant Services and Catholic Mass.

A virtual Catholic Mass will begin this Sunday, Nov. 22 from 1130-1230. Father Castro will present Catholic Mass via Facebook Live.

In addition, Chaplain Giralmo will provide a weekly sermon via video, which will be available for viewing.

The Facebook Live Sunday Catholic Mass and weekly Protestant video can be found here:

Please note: The Sunday Mass will be hosted Live and will NOT be available AFTER Mass has ended. Please plan accordingly. However, the weekly Protestant sermon will be posted on or before each Sunday and will be available for viewing at any time.
