CDR Ferguson is a Naval Flight Officer and currently serving as the Program Officer for the National Security Affairs Department at the Naval Postgraduate School. In this role he supervises over 300 military students and coordinates periodic curriculum reviews to align the academic requirements and program sponsor guidance. His operational assignments include two tours flying EP-3E reconnaissance aircraft in VQ-2 out of Rota Spain, and serving as the Assistant Strike Operations Officer on the USS George Washington. He also served on the staffs of US European Command and US Africa Command in Stuttgart Germany; Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing Eleven in Jacksonville, FL; and as the director of the Warrior Transition Program in Kuwait. He is a graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School with a M.S. in Physics.
