On April 4, 2023, a panel of experts convened by the Generative AI Task Force discussed the claims of Henry Kissinger, Eric Schmidt, and Dan Huttenlocher that developments in generative AI will bring changes and challenges as significant as those wrought by the printing press and the Enlightenment—fundamentally altering how we think, find work, organize society, and conduct international relations and war:
