FY16 Budget Cut
01 Aug 2015, 13:30
FY16 Budget Cut: Because the FY16 budget has been cut significantly from $12M to about $9M, FY16 projects will be authorized 2 years to perform their work. To execute this, we are asking PIs to budget about 1/3 of their overall budget in Year 2 (FY17). Please plan for your FY16 accounts to be fully spent by 9/30/16, and then a new account will be provided the following year using FY17 funds. This strategy enables the program to continue to fund as many projects as possible while not overspending the FY16 budget.
