Overview

Matthew Crook served 20 years in the US Navy as a submarine officer. His Bachelor’s degree is in Computer Engineering and his Master’s Degree in Space Systems Operations. His Master’s thesis work included the mechanical design of the NPS CubeSat Launcher (NPSCuL), which was used to carry CubeSats into orbit on four space launches. He served as the space operations subject matter expert for the Naval War College Wargaming Department before reporting to the Naval Postgraduate School to teach courses in the NPS Space Systems Academic Group (SSAG). Since active-duty military retirement, he has continued to teach in the SSAG as a civilian lecturer, especially the Space Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (SNC3) Certificate.
