Overview

Dr. Kyle Lin is Professor in the Operations Research Department at the Naval Postgraduate School. Dr. Lin specializes in mathematical modeling, applied probability, game theory, and their applications in defense-related problems. His research focuses on developing novel mathematical models to glean new insights about a broad spectrum of defense-related operations, such as patrol, surveillance, search, and combat. He also works closely with several DoD agencies to address emerging logistical, strategic, tactical, and operational problems.
