Center for Executive Education
Ann Gallenson is a Lecturer for the Center for Executive Education (CEE) at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS), in Monterey, California, where she has served since 2008. Ann recently helped define and develop the Energy Executive Education and Leading Innovation Energy Area Focus courses. Ann facilitates teams for CEE’s strategy, strategic communications, and innovation workshops. She has helped expand and define these workshops and workshops in design thinking.
Her NPS-affiliated energy research includes human?factors research into the attitudes and practices affecting energy use in the Marine Corps, and creating attitude changes towards energy use and innovation in the Navy. Other NPS research areas center around using technology to change practices in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR), Community education in Computer Science and Computer Security, and Civil?Military communication and information sharing through open?source forums.
Formally trained in genetics, mathematics, and design, Ann’s ability to create synergies between technical and business trends provided the basis for the consulting corporation she has lead for twenty four years. Her consulting work around leveraging emerging technologies and markets to create business and product opportunities has resulted in successful products and business transformations.
Ann has worked with Government, Education, Fortune 500, and Non Profit organizations. Her client list includes SPAWAR, San Diego State University, Dell, Adobe, Yahoo!, Macromedia, Autodesk, Audible, Academic Systems, The Ohio State University, University of Utah Medical Center, and PBS.
