Audiovisual (AV) Services
The Audiovisual (AV) Services office is a proud member of the ITACS Educational Technologies team, and serves the faculty, students and staff at the Naval Postgraduate School, as well as Naval Support Activity Monterey, their tenant commands, and affiliated organizations.
AV Services supports and maintains all installed multimedia presentation systems in over 110 classrooms and labs across campus and several department conference rooms. Additionally, the office manages
AV systems in Glasgow 102 auditorium, Ingersoll 122 auditorium, Mechanical Engineers Auditorium, King Hall, the Barbara McNitt Ballroom, and the upcoming Executive Business Center. AV Services also provides a myriad of portable equipment for NPS-supported events, including LCD projectors and screens, podiums with microphones, wireless microphones and sound systems.
If you have an NPS login and wish to request audiovisual equipment and support for your event, please fill out the online audiovisual request form. You must log in using your NPS credentials, and you must submit a request even if you are only using the installed equipment in a conference room or auditorium.
Navigate the request form using the tabs at the top of the form (Event, Equipment, Video Recording Services, Video Duplication & Training, and Notes). The “Event” tab details the where and when of your event, while “Equipment” allows you to choose the equipment you need. In “Video Duplication & Training,” you can list any training on installed or portable equipment you will be using for your event. Once you’ve filled out the form, hit the “Create” button to submit it.

If you are unable to log into JIRA, please contact the TAC at 831.656.1046 for assistance with your login, and then contact Audiovisual Services to help get your request processed in a timely manner.
Audio Visual Requests
If you are not an NPS user, please have your sponsor at NPS fill out the form in your stead. If your NPS sponsor is unable to do so, please contact Audiovisual Services at the number below and the AV staff will help you get your request processed in a timely manner.
To see your request once you’ve submitted it, go to your web browser address bar and type in “JIRA.” This will take you to the JIRA@nps page; log in with your NPS login and password. Hit the Issues dropdown triangle, and you should be able to see your most-recent submissions under the “Recent Issues” heading. Please note that you cannot make changes to your request once you’ve submitted it; if you need to make a change, please contact Audiovisual Services, and the staff will be happy to make the changes for you.
