USMC at NPS - Marines Inbound to NPS
Congratulations on your selection to the Special Education Program!!
Naturally, you will have many questions to ask about NPS, your curriculum,
housing, and the local area. Most of your questions can be answered
simply by navigating around the NPS websites—including this one. The
rest of your questions can be answered by your sponsor, or through the
normal check-in process upon arrival.
Sponsors are assigned by the Dean of Students when
the school receives a copy of your orders. If you have orders to NPS
and within a reasonable amount of time have not had anyone contact you as
a sponsor, send email to the
NPS Student Services Officers at: sso@nps.navy.mil. Normally, the SSOs try to assign a student
sponsor from the same branch of service, in the same curriculum, and of the
same rank as the inbound student; in that order of priority.
