Dudley Knox Library is the academic library at NPS.
Our collection includes print and electronic books and journals, government documents and other materials, selected to support NPS research. We also subscribe to electronic tools called databases that index scholarly and professional literature of interest to NPS research.
A library account is required to access many of our electronic books and other downloadable resources. Find out more here. Questions about your account can be directed to Circulation. If you have a question about materials you have requested from another library, contact Interlibrary Loan.
Librarians are available to assist you whether you are here in Monterey or taking part in NPS programs from other locations. Reach us via Ask a Librarian. In addition, we offer a variety of single-session workshops each quarter, as well as providing online introductions to many library resources. View a downloadable introduction, or a see a video about our library and the NPS mission. Welcome to the Library.

"YouTube for NPS": Campus Video Portal is now open
NPS now hosts its own video portal with "channels" for many campus entities, including the library. Videos on the portal can be accessed from on or off-campus, making it easier for students to catch up on the latest happenings at NPS or to watch a lecture they missed. The site also features monthly episodes of Inside NPS, a 30-minute show that appears regularly on the Pentagon Channel. See the new Video Portal here.
