Research Interests:
Acquisition,
outsourcing and
privatization,
offsets and
procurement/contracting
initiatives.
Background:
Dr. Wright is a member of
the full time faculty of the
School of International
Graduate Studies at the U.S.
Naval Postgraduate School.
She is also the director of
the International Defense
Acquisition Resource
Management Program within
the school. She teaches and
consults internationally in
the area of defense
acquisition resource
management and decision
making. Prior to her faculty
appointment in 2000, she was
a member of the defense
acquisition corps for
fourteen years serving in
various capacities including
Director of Acquisition
(Contracts & Procurement) at
two major defense
organizations in the
Washington D.C area.
Publications:
Dr. Wright has authored and
co-authored numerous
publications related to
defense acquisition,
procurement and
contracting and is an
internationally
recognized expert on the
subject. In 2005, she
received Professor of
the Quarter award.
