Research Interests:

Systems Engineering, Requirements, and Test and Evaluation.

Background:

From 1994 through 1997, Dr. Ritchie was Vice President of Scientific Research Corporation, an engineering consulting firm in Atlanta, GA, with focus on defense test and evaluation and C4I systems. Previously, she was the Dean of Research and Professor at the Defense Systems Management College, where she also lectured in the Program Managers’ resident course.  Prior to this assignment, she spent many years as a senior civil servant with the US Navy and the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and was awarded the Secretary of Defense Medal for Meritorious Civilian Service for work in modeling and simulation policy in support of test and evaluation.
