keyboardNational Security/Public Budgeting -- The Defense Resources Management Institute (DRMI) has a tenure track opening at the assistant/associate/full professor level. The Institute offers team-taught, interdisciplinary, executive development courses for military and civilian government officials of the U.S. and other countries. DRMI courses are taught at the Naval Postgraduate School and at locations around the world, requiring some foreign travel. The successful candidate must have demonstrated potential for scholarly research and publication and a willingness to pursue research relevant to the Department of Defense. Fields of interest should include public budgeting, public finance, government accounting. Some expertise or interest in management science, operations research, or PPBS is very desirable. The successful candidate must have excellent teaching and superior communication skills. Proficiency in a foreign language, particularly Spanish, French or Russian, is desirable. Ph.D. and U.S. citizenship required.
