Earl R. Brubaker, Professor Emeritus, previously served as an economic analyst for the federal government (1960–1966). He was a member of the graduate faculty at the University of Wisconsin in Madison (1966–1980). He authored two books, Individual Values and Global Sharing and Public Expenditure Decisions, as well as many articles in the American Economic Review, the Economic Journal, the Journal of Political Economy, and other leading economic periodicals. His current research focuses on eliciting citizens' input to support public budgetary decisions.
