 |
|
James S. Airola, Assistant Professor, received his BS in Engineering (1983) from Texas Tech University and an MA (1998) and a Ph.D. (2002) in Economics from the University of Houston. Mr Airola has previously worked as a design engineer, small business entrepreneur, and consultant. He has worked extensively in developing countries. His current research focuses on labor markets and development, particularly international trade and the distribution of wages, including the effects of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Dr. Airola joined the faculty in August 2002.
