The
Naval Postgraduate School accepts
a limited number of employees of corporations
that are contractors for the Department
of Defense (DoD) in programs related
to systems engineering, software engineering,
and defense product development.
Tuition is the responsibility of the
corporate employer.
Tuition
is $500 per credit hour, plus any
additional costs such as course materials,
delivery fees, and travel. The typical
cost for a full-time, resident student
is $32,000 per year.

1. NPS graduate education application
form. The application form is available
online at http://www.nps.edu/admissions/contractors
or by contacting the Admissions Office at

2.
Official transcripts from ALL institutions
of higher education. The transcripts
must be received by the Admissions office
in a sealed envelope from the institution
of higher education. The transcript
must be mailed directly to the following

Two (2) letters of recommendation.
Information for input to the recommendations
can be found here.

A letter from the corporate employer stating
their willingness to pay the tuition for
the program and
supply
salary and benefits during your time as
a student. A sample letter can be
found here.

Once
the package has been reviewed by the Director
of Admissions and the respective Department,
each applicant will be notified by the Director
of Admissions as to the status of their
package (acceptance/non-acceptance).
Once accepted to NPS, the NPS Comptroller
will contact the tuition sponsor to arrange
payment.
