NPS alum, LCDR Patrick Baker, presented his thesis research June 27 at the Brookings Institute following the recent purchase by Russia of French Mistral-class helicopter assault ships. Baker's degree is in Europe and Eurasian security studies; his advisor was Dr. Mikhail Tsypkin. You can read a transcript of his presentation here.
Thomas H. Johnson, Research Professor and Director of the Program for Culture & Conflict Studies, was featured on NPR's On Point with Tom Ashbrook on May 12, 2010.
