The Department of National Security Affairs at the Naval Postgraduate School seeks a tenure-track specialist in the history, politics, or culture of Central Asia and Russia.
The position is open with respect to rank and sub-regional focus, though some preference will be given to expertise extending beyond Russia. A research agenda relevant to regional or international security, broadly conceived, is also welcome.
The Naval Postgraduate School is a fully accredited graduate institution, whose students are drawn from the armed forces and civilian agencies of the United States and many other countries. National Security Affairs is a multi-disciplinary department with curricula based on comparative politics, international relations, history, and economics.
