The School offers a unique resident defense-focused MBA program plus Masters Degrees in five other DoD-relevant areas. Classes are taught by a top-flight faculty at the School in Monterey and at Navy and other DoD locations around the world through video teleconferencing and other distance learning techniques.
Faculty research, sponsored largely by Navy and DoD entities, brings real issues to the School and real solutions to the sponsors. MPTE Seeks Researchers for FY 2009 Program
MPTE, which stands for Manpower, Personnel, Training, and Education, is reaching out to NPS faculty for participants in its 2009 research program.
Vice Admiral Mark Ferguson, Chief of Naval Personnel, is spearheading the effort to expand the MPTE research program and attract innovative proposals for AY 2009 as part of an effort to strengthen and improve DON strategic goals.
The admiral is looking for proposals in all disciplines, fields, and domains involved in Manpower, Personnel, Training and Education or ones that could improve the MPTE Strategic Objectives . With its Manpower program GSBPP is a natural participant in this effort.
