Advanced Acquisition Program (AAP) - Welcome!

Welcome to the Advanced Acquisition Program (AAP) website.

The Advanced Acquisition Program (AAP) is designed to support the educational needs of the acquisition workforce and other professionals desiring an in-depth understanding of the Department of Defense acquisition process. This course is equivalent to the Defense Acquisition University (DSMC) PMT 302 course and graduating students will receive a Level III education certificate in Program Management.

AAP is designed to be completed within one year. It requires no student travel and will be conducted on-site in three phases: Students attend a VTC class originating from NPS during their first quarter, followed by a series of five one-week classes taught on-site over the following two quarters, then a final capstone class taught via VTC from NPS in the fourth quarter.
