From Spring 2008 all lectures, seminars and events have been captured with NAVCAST using Windows Media technology.
Getting to NAVCAST
The URL for the NAVCAST portal is: https://navcast.nps.edu.
Passwords
All streams except for those designed as public will require authentication using your NPS provided NT credentials. If you are unsure of your username or password, or have problems logging into NAVCAST, contact the NPS Technology Assistance Center for assistance.
Browser Requirements

| There should not be any downloads required to view the streams. | Your browser may prompt you to install components to view the streams. Install these components as directed. |
Troubleshooting
Ports: The live and archived streaming traffic will both use port 80 which is the standard port for web services.
Browser Security: NAVCAST will not work on clients with Internet Explorer security set to High. The portal will work at any level at or below medium.
Media Player on Windows: if you do not have a windows media player installed in your windows computer you can download it from Microsoft.
