Department of Defense Root Certificate Install
- Download and run the DoD Root Certificates Installer (Windows only) to allow your computer to permanently recognize DoD SSL certificates as valid.
NOTE: Installer must be run as an administrator. - DoD root certificates for Mac need to be downloaded at https://dod411.chamb.disa.mil (DISA website requires CAC inserted into a working Card Reader and a connection from .MIL network space - contact the Technology Assistance Center for help with this).
- For non-Windows machines we recommend installing certificates for both NPS and other DoD secure sites. Download and save these files and follow the instructions for your operating system for installing root certificates:
DoD Root CA2 Base64.cer and DoD Root CA3 Base64.cer
