" Local Telecommunications Coordinator. Each OPTAR funded
business unit and tenant activity will be required to designate
a Local Telecommunications Coordinator (LTC) and alternate LTC.
Designation of a business unit LTC (and alternate LTC) will be
accomplished by sending a written memorandum to ITACS (code
05T). The memorandum must contain the names of the LTCs, their
building, office room number, phone number and email address.
The individual responsible for the business unit's OPTAR account
must sign the memorandum. The designated LTC is responsible for
the coordination and approval of all moves/adds/changes to
telephones services provided to the LTC’s business unit and
monthly review of informational bills for excessive charges.
Only the designated LTC (and/or alternate) will be allowed to
request telecommunications services. All requests for telephone
services moves/adds/changes must be through the designated
LTC(s). A telecommunications service request from anyone other
than the LTC will be referred back to the requesting business
unit for proper approval and re-submission. "
LTCs should call x1033 and report the problem. If you get voice mail leave your name, the problem extension number, building, and room number. Describe the problem and leave a working number where you can be reached.
LTCs can also report phone problems by e-mailing tco@nps.navy.mil
E-mails must originate from an LTC. End user customers are not to e-mail TCO directly and simply copy their LTC on the e-mail. We will not imply the LTC's consent just because they are copied on a request. Click here for some FAQs for LTCs, which we will update frequently.
PLEASE DON'T REPORT YOUR PROBLEM MORE THAN ONCE. IT WON'T HELP US FIX YOUR PHONE ANY SOONER.
Voicemail is retained on the system for a maximum of 30 days; subsequently, messages are automatically deleted.
