The Monterey Bay Officers' Spouses Club is a social and service organization promoting friendship and community. The MBOSC sponsors social events for Military families, as well as fund-raising events. Officer spouses from the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS), Defense Language Institute (DLI) and Officer Spouses of the Monterey County area are welcomed members.

The Marine Spouses of Monterey or MSM is a social organization open to all Marines' significant others located here on the central coast. Most of our members have accompanied their Marine to Monterey and are students at the Defense Language Institute or Naval Postgraduate School. Throughout the year we organize social events to give our members the opportunity to meet each other and enjoy the surrounding area. We also work with the local Marine commands at NPS and DLI to organize and support family functions several times a year. Our goal is to maintain a sense of community with all Marines past, present, and future. Our organization is funded by our annual volunteer efforts that take place on the peninsula. Due to our continued volunteer efforts we do not charge our members’ dues. We do however; ask that all of our members volunteer each year at our big events to support the organization.
