The Barbara McNitt Ballroom

The magnificent  Barbara McNitt Ballroom was created in the tradition of the grand ballrooms of yesteryear. As you enter through the stunning oversized carved double doors you'll be transported back to the era when Jean Harlow, Clark Gable and Carole Lombard danced here. This truly grand ballroom is adorned with ornate details such as the inlaid mosaic tiled fountain that dominates one wall. The fountain and the elaborate tile work bordering the floor-to-ceiling arched window at either end of the room bring the Moorish influence inside and give the space a spicy, exotic ambiance. The immense windows that line this extraordinary room create an aura of natural light and wonder. At night, the twilight lighting from the magnificent wrought-iron chandeliers and matching wall sconces becomes iridescent, almost magical and is the perfect setting for a romantic wedding reception. Another art deco detail includes the intricate Spanish colonial sculpted ceiling that is beautiful maintained and faithful to the room's grand heritage. French doors open to the large verandas overlooking the European-style rose gardens and grounds to provide a comfortable break for your guests. The Barbara McNitt Ballroom is home to over 10,000 square feet of hardwood flooring as the perfect finishing touch. This venue can accommodate groups of 150-600 seated or standing receptions for groups of 150-900.
