For
all classified theses, including Top Secret,
the Thesis Processing Office will be your
POC. The thesis processor requires the original
hardcopy of the Signature Page, Release
Form and Special Abstract for all classified
theses. The Special Abstracts should also
be submitted electronically to the Thesis
Processor.
For Top Secret Theses/Reports, call or
email the Thesis Processor to make an appointment
in the SCIF to go over formatting and instructions.
For all other classified theses, as soon
as you have the first couple of chapters
written, you should make an appointment
with the Thesis Processor, x2762 or x2273,
to check thesis formatting. The final thesis,
in PDF format, will be reviewed electronically
via a CD you bring to the processor’s office.
When your PDF final has been approved and
you have obtained all the necessary signatures,
please make an appointment with your processor.
You will take two hard copies of your thesis
and a CD with your final Word copy and PDF
to the processor. The Thesis Processors
will provide you with the CDs and paper
for printing.
The Classified Thesis will be distributed
via SIPRNet to your Distribution List. Your
Special Abstract should have the SIPRNet
email addresses. If email addresses are
not available, then the Distribution List
in your thesis should have the official
mailing address of the recipient. A CD will
be distributed.
