Sonia Molineux

Research Analyst

Sonia Molineux served eight years in the US Navy, obtaining the rank of Lieutenant. As a Cryptologist, she served at the Kunia Regional SIGINT Operations Center in Oahu, Hawaii. As a Naval Intelligence Officer, she served on the USS George Washington and at the Military Infrastructure Office of the Defense Intelligence Agency in Washington, DC.

Ms. Molineux earned a BA in English at Rutgers College, Rutgers University and an MA in International Communication from the School of International Service, American University. Ms. Molineux has lived in France and Belgium and completed her graduate internship in the commercial section of the American Embassy in Brussels. Her research interests include the psychology of decision-making; cross-cultural communication; and political relations and security in Afghanistan and Iraq.
