SSE Students Brief Space Brain Trust on ‘Holy Grail’ Satellite Design

Naval Postgraduate School alumnus Rear Adm. Victor See, Jr. (Aeronautical Engineering and Naval Avionics, 1989), center, Director of the National Reconnaissance Office Communications Directorate, Commander of SPAWAR’s Space Field Activity and the Navy’s Program Executive Officer for Space Systems, joined senior space experts from across the federal government, military and aerospace industry for the final review of Space Systems Engineering and Operations students’ capstone spacecraft design project, Sept. 23. The daylong briefs by eleven students, pictured here, covered all aspects of their cutting-edge design for a multi-mission operationally responsive spacecraft carrying an infrared imaging payload in sun-synchronous low-earth orbit.
