NPS Celebrates Memorial Day by ‘Honoring Heroes Together’

Two great conductors – one great sound. The Monterey Bay Pops Orchestra co-conductors Max Bragado-Darman and Carl Christensen (inset) shared baton duties at Monday’s Memorial Day celebration of music and remembrance, with the “Honoring Heroes Together” program. The free concert has been performed at NPS by the Monterey Bay Symphony since 1990 but is the first time since the 1985 musical split with the Monterey Symphony that both organizations have performed together under one tent.
