NPS Students Build, Battle Autonomous Robots
Submitted 6/12/2008 1:01:05 PM

Naval Postgraduate School student Lt. Daniel Tyler (far right) celebrates the victory of his team’s robot, “Spike,” as it successfully attacks a fellow classmate’s robot, “Tri-bot,” at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department’s Controls and Robotics Laboratory May 13. The mission-tasked autonomous competing robots were built by students in the Systems Engineering Systems Suitability course (SE 3302) who analyzed the reliability, maintainability and availability of the robots and studied their suitability for completing a mission.
