Number and types of Library Workstations
The Dudley Knox Library has 52 desktops in public areas and 25 laptops for check out.
Workstation maintenance
Workstation hardware and applications are installed, configured and maintained by Library Systems staff. Workstation images
are updated on a quarterly basis and rolled out in batches before the beginning of the quarter.
Requesting changes
Our goal is to accommodate our patrons research needs by ensuring necessary applications are available on library equipment.
Requests for installing new software can be placed via the Remedy system (http://remedy.nps.edu ) by specifying that the request is for Library equipment.
