DoD Inspector General Audit and Evaluation Reports
The DoD Inspector General is responsible for conducting, supervising, monitoring and initiating audits and investigations
of the programs and operations of DoD. Many of their reports are available full-text online, and the Library owns many in

Federal employees, government support contractors and vendors can register for this site which is the required repository
for DoD contracts. Registered users can access the full text of contracts, contract modifications, contract deficiency reports,
and other contract documents.
Selected Acquisition Reports (SARs)
This site links to SARs from 1969 - present.
SAR summary reports and news releases or memoranda for correspondents are also available by searching the news area of Defenselink. These reports, which are issued annually (with quarterly updates), summarize the costs of major defense acquisition programs.
The news releases provide additional background information on selected programs.

Government Accountability Office (GAO)

The Government Accountability Office is the investigative arm of Congress. It produces reports on a wide range of subjects
of interest to Congress, including many that are defense-related. All publicly released GAO reports from 1995 onward are available
full text. We own many in print as well.

The Commerce Business Daily (CBD) lists notices of proposed government procurement actions, contract awards, sales of government
property, and other procurement information. A new edition of the CBD is issued every business day. Each edition contains
approximately 500-1,000 notices. Each notice appears in the CBD only once. This CBD database contains notices from December
2, 1996 forward.

Bi-monthly magazine from Defense Acquisition University, replacing Program Manager in Jan/Feb 2004.
