Background:

Magdi N. Kamel is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. He received his Ph.D. in Information Systems from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. His main research interest is in the analysis, design and implementation of computer-based information systems.

He has lectured and consulted in these areas for many DoD and government organizations and is the author of numerous published research papers on these topics. Dr. Kamel is a recent recipient of a Fulbright grant for teaching and research in the computer and information systems area. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery and IEEE Computer Society.
