The Naval Postgraduate School is home to one of the largest communities of military officers from the United States and other nations assembled anywhere today. They are studying in fields ranging from Computer Science to Information Warfare, from Modeling and Simulation to Total Ship Design, from Operational Logistics to Manpower Systems, and from Civil Military Relations to Low Intensity Conflict. There are about 1300 officer students from all branches of the United States and allied military services studying at the Naval Postgraduate School.
As part of the educational program, we invite world leaders, senior military officers and other experts from academia and industry to speak with the students on issues that will impact the nation and the world, as well as their own lives and careers.
Presentations are generally held on Tuesday, in our campus auditorium, King Hall, and begin at 3:00 p.m. but other arrangements may be made to accommodate the schedules of our invited guest speakers. The presentation is generally one-hour long and includes a question and answer session.
Please contact the NPS' Protocol Officer at (831) 656-2466 for more information about our guest speaker programs.
