NETC Sponsored Programs

NPS has partnered with NETC to offer the following programs as a fully-funded program in fiscal year 08. For qualified applicants, there is no tuition required from the student or their commands. For students who do not qualify for a NETC sponsored tuition, the following programs are $1750 per course and requires tuition sponsorship from the student's command.

NETC Sponsored Certificate Programs:

The following programs are fully funded for Navy and Marine military students in addition to GS employees reporting to a USN/USMC command.

Information Systems and Operations (ISO)
Information Systems Technology (IST)
Systems Analysis (SA)
Space Systems (SSC)
Systems Engineering (SE)

NETC Sponsored Degree Programs:

The following program is fully funded for Navy and Marine military students in addition to GS employees reporting to a USN/USMC command.

Master of Systems Analysis (MSA)

All students are responsible for purchase of required textbooks, software or other items associated with the courses as required by the instructors.

Selection Priorities for NETC Sponsored Programs

Class sizes are limited and will be available based on the following NETC priority order:

  1. Active duty Navy/Marine URL officers
  2. Active duty Navy/Marine officers (includes staff corps, LDOs, CWOs)
  3. Reserve duty Navy/Marine officers
  4. Navy/Marine Civilian Employees (GS)
  5. Officers from sister services
  6. Other DoD Government Service Employees)

Other Sponsored Programs

The following program has been sponsored by N87. For qualified applicants, there is no tuition required from the student or their commands.

All students are responsible for purchase of required textbooks, software or other items associated with the courses as required by the instructors.

The following programs require tuition sponsorship from all students.

All students are responsible for purchase of required textbooks, software or other items associated with the courses as required by the instructors.

Certificate Programs:

The following certificate programs are $1750 per course.

Fundamentals in Information Systems Technology (eFIST)

Degree Programs:

Tuition for the following distance learning degree programs is $1750 per course and requires tuition sponsorship from the student's command. A 20% discount is offered to an organization that fully sponsors and guarantees 10 or more seats reducing the price to $1400 a course per student (not including textbooks).

Masters of Computing Technology (MCT)
Master of Science in Systems Engineering (MSSE)
Master of Science Space Systems Operations (MSSSO)

Systems Engineering Management - Product Development Leadership for the 21st Century (SEM-PD21)

Tuition for the following distance learning degree programs is $2400 per course and requires tuition sponsorship from the student's command. A 20% discount is offered to an organization that fully sponsors and guarantees 10 or more seats reducing the price to $1920 a course per student (not including textbooks).

Master of Science in Electronic Systems Engineering (Electronic Warfare) (MSESE-EW)

Funding Documents and Contact

Funds can be transferred to NPS using MIPR, DD-448 or NAVCOMPT 2276-A UPON ACCEPTANCE INTO THE PROGRAM. For more information about funding documents, please email OCL_DL_Funding@nps.edu.
