Receives Bronze Star Medal

Lt. Michael Jay Tozzi, a surface warfare officer and Mechanical Engineering master’s student at the Naval Postgraduate School, received the Bronze Star Medal for exceptionally meritorious service during Operation Iraqi Freedom, at a special ceremony in the International Flag Garden, Aug. 5.  “I sat on the Navy Awards Board before coming to NPS, and I can tell you that for a U.S. Navy lieutenant to receive this Army award is rare and very noteworthy,” said Dean of Students Capt.
