Bible Studies
Officer's Christian Fellowship (OCF) cosponsors Bible studies and fellowships for Americans and Internationals: Meets on every Thursday school is in session at the La Mesa Community Center from 1830 - 2030. Contact Aaron Luck (MAJ) at abluck@nps.edu .
The La Mesa Women's Bible Study is a neighborhood Bible study program sponsored by the Command Religious Program at NPS. For over 30 years women have been gathering in La Mesa Village to learn more about the Bible, to grow in our faith, and to fellowship with one another. Our studies are open to all women of the military community. Different study topics are offered each academic quarter and are hosted & taught by various women of the La Mesa Community. Campus Crusade for Christ You've come to Monterey to listen and to learn many things. You will ask and answer many questions. But have you found the answers to life's most important questions: Who is God? Who am I? What am I to do with my life? The military ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ is here to help you answer these and other questions of life and spirituality through retreats, bible studies, discipleship groups, and individual discipleship. Bible studies are held at NPS in the El Prado room Tuesday and Thursday 0700-0800. DLI bible study is held at the USAF Barracks, Commander's Conference room Wednesdays 1830-2000. Women's Discipleship Group is held at Fort Ord Chapel Thursdays 0900-1100. Campus Crusade for Christ is a great way to participate in the life of the church. Teen Group The NPS and Ord Military Community Chapels have a combined teen Chapel program. Weekly meetings are being held from 1930 to 2100 every Wednesday that combine sharing, study, and fun. Please contact the Chaplain's office for more information.
Participation in Church
If you're interested in putting your faith in action; utilizing your God given abilities; helping those in need; growing spiritually, or learning to be of greater service to God in the NSA community, then we invite you to join the ministry of our Chapel.Please take a moment to look at the many opportunities you have to be involved in our church life and offer your talents to God.
Chapel Council Members Needed
The Chapel Council makes recommendations to the chaplains on the use of offerings for donation to charities and provides feedback and input on current ministry programs and possible new programs. If you have suggestions to improve the ministry here or any other feedback, please let a Council member know. If you are interested in serving on the council, talk with one of the chaplains.

Praise Team Members Needed
The Praise Team meets Fridays at 1000 and sings at the 1000 service. Please join us to sing on Friday and maybe you'll want to be a part of the team/show on Sunday too! See a Chaplain for more info.
Musicians Needed
Do you play a musical instrument? Then join us as we make joyful music to the Lord every Sunday. We would love to experience your talents during our worship services. Contact the Chaplain's office for more information.
Sunday School Teachers and Helpers Needed
We are in need of Sunday School teachers of all ages. If you are interested, please contact Cheryl Wilson through the Chaplain's office or see one of the Chaplains to assist in the spiritual growth of our children.
Children’s Church Teachers and Assistants Needed
The 1000 service is in need of teachers and assistants. You can sign up for a week or a month to help. All teaching materials will be provided, but you are welcome to use your own materials. Please contact Cheryl Wilson through the Chaplain's Office. Don’t forget to send your kids and if you don’t have kids, your talents are welcome.
I-HELP Volunteers Needed
The purpose of this ministry is to feed the homeless and we can always use volunteers to go to the Sanctuary Bible Church in Carmel Valley the second Saturday of each month. Please click on I-HELP above or speak to a chaplain if you feel called to this ministry.
