Welcome to the Naval Postgraduate School Child & Youth Programs in beautiful Monterey, California. We provide services for children 6 weeks to 17 years of age in state of the art facilities that are designed to accommodate the appropriate age group. Our goal is to ensure each and every child is provided a safe, respectful and nurturing environment while promoting the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of children. We consider our programs to be a support to and extension of your family.

Our facilities are in walking distance from homes in La Mesa Village. The La Mesa Elementary School is right next door to the Child Development Center and up the street from the Tech Connection.

The Child Development Center is geared for children 6 weeks – 6 years of age (Kindergarten). We offer full time care, drop in care, life skills readiness preschool program and before & after kindergarten care. We are located across the street from the housing office so when you check in come up and say hello.

The Tech Connection is the place to be for youth ages 6 (first grade) – 17 years of age. We offer after school care, drop in care, youth sports, day camps, open recreation, instructional classes and teen programs.

We strive to ensure children & youth have positive learning and recreation experiences that are developmentally appropriate and fun!!
