Want to take advantage of the HOV parking program, but can't find a rideshare partner? As a public service to the community, the Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments (AMBAG) has a website designed to coordinate carpools. This site takes information about your commute--the general area you are coming from, your place of work, and your schedule--and provides you with a list of potential contacts to share the ride with. The only data given out are your work number and/or your e-mail address, so your residential information is protected until you chose to share it with a potential ride partner. To take advantage of this program (and the more people that do, the more effective this program will be) just click on the link below and register with the Ridematch Service.
Under the new HOV program, student and staff HOV permits will be assigned an expiration date and future renewals will be processed on a quarterly basis. If you require additional information please contact the Assistant Chief of Police or vehicle registration (ext. 2556).
