Biography
Brent Kesler graduated from Dartmouth College in 2003 with a degree in computer science. Until 2006 he wrote Security in the News, a daily report of developments related to malicious hacking, malware, cyber security best practices, and homeland security. He later worked as research coordinator for the Institute for Information Infrastructure Protection (I3P), helping manage federal research projects related to critical infrastructure protection.
In 2010, Brent graduated from the Monterey Institute of International Studies with a master's degree in international policy with a focus on terrorism. He now puts his computer and policy skills to work at the Naval Postgraduate School as a web developer and managing editor of Strategic Insights.
