Patrick A. Gambrel is a member of the adjunct faculty of the School of International Graduate Studies at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. He has over 30 years of defense industry experience, including over 15 years of international program management and acquisition experience. Pat is currently the Director of International Programs for Pratt & Whitney Military Engines and is responsible for leading the International Programs team in the management and execution of program requirements, the development of customer relationships, and customer satisfaction for all international fighter engine programs.
Prior to this position, Pat served in both program manager and business development roles and has extensive international experience with customers in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and South America. He is recognized as an expert in international business within Pratt & Whitney Military Engines. Pat also held various positions in engineering organizations.
Pat also served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of New Haven, teaching international business courses in their MBA programs.
Pat earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, Master of Business Administration and Doctorate in Business Administration degrees from Nova Southeastern University, and a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs from the Fletcher School at Tufts University. He is also a graduate of MIT’s Corporate Program in Strategy and the Department of Defense Advanced Program Management Course.
