Non-Traditional Purchasing fields, Logistics Information Management as well as Global Supply Chain Management
Michael Ruediger is a guest lecturer of the School of International Graduate Studies at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. He is also an Assistant Professor at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich. He teaches and does consulting work on an international level in the areas of Global Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management and Global Procurement.
His doctoral dissertation focuses on non-traditional purchasing fields and their effects on value based management as well as implications on supply chain safety and security. He has authored and co-authored numerous publications related to Logistics Information Management, Outsourcing in the Armed Forces, Public Private Partnerships in the German Army and Non-Traditional Purchasing Fields. He has been a speaker at international conferences in the fields of “Supply Chain Management”, “Outsourcing in the Armed Forces” and “Economic Aspects of Process Optimization in the Armed Forces” in Germany and other European nations.
