TNT 11-1 had over 550 attendees conducting more than 50 experiments. The participants represented 80 companies, 55 government organizations, and 5 universities. In addition to the experimentation that occurred at Camp Roberts, an experiment took place at Fort Hunter Liggett examining air asset placement in SOF missions. Several experiments, such as the USMC Rapid Prototyping experiment and the OSD’s Force Protection experiment, focused on improving war fighter effectiveness. USASOC Special Operations Research Support Element (SORSE) and the 19th Special Forces Group provided experienced SOF operators who assessed the technologies and shared their impressions with the participants. For the second time, the Joint Information Operations Warfare Center (JIOWC) Red Team provided assessments to the participants, helping them identify the vulnerabilities in their technologies.
