The Department of National Security Affairs at the Naval Postgraduate School is interested in identifying and hiring research associates to provide support to the Center for Contemporary Conflict and National Security Affairs Department staff and faculty.
Duties will consist of administrative and research tasks in support of ongoing projects concerning world politics and economies, global military issues and capabilities, homeland security, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and defense policy of various states. Past and current Research Associates concurrently obtain a Master’s degree in Security Studies (with no tuition fees), from the National Security Affairs Department, which is ranked as one of the top ten universities in international affairs and development (see http://www.nps.edu/nsa for more information). They typically attend classes one-half time (two courses per academic term) and work 34 hours per week for the Center.
