The Navy M&S Office in conjunction with the Defense Modeling and Simulation Steering Committee presented the Naval Postgraduate School with an enormous challenge in 2006: design and deliver an educational program for delivery by 2009, for 20,000 or more acquisition professionals,
focusing on the effective use of modeling and simulation in acquisition. To answer this challenge, the Modeling and Simulation Education for the Acquisition/T&E Workforce project was initiated, and today full and short academic course materials, continuous learning module (CLM) content, and case study materials are readily available for implementation into any US education program.
