Master of Science in Program Management Commencing 8 July 2008

The Naval Postgraduate School and its School of Business and Public Policy are pleased to announce the offering of an eight quarter part-time Master of Science in Program Management by distributed learning beginning Tuesday, 8 July 2008. Students that complete the degree program also earn DAWIA level III training requirements for Program Management (PMT352) and Logistics (LOG304), level II for Software Acquisition (SAM201), Systems Engineering (SYS201) and level I in Contracting (CON101). The program also meets DAWIA requirements for 24 hours of business subjects and 40 hours of annual continuous learning.
The MSPM program is open to qualified DoD uniformed officers, federal employees and a limited number of Defense contractors. Students take two (2) courses a quarter for eight (8) consecutive quarters. Attached are the MSPM July 2008 - June 2010 curriculum line up and an associated MSPM tuition letter. The program will be delivered exclusively over the Internet using ELLUMINATE, an Internet web-conferencing tool, in two 3 hour sessions a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 0800-1100 (Pacific Time). To use ELLUMINATE, students will need Internet access, a PC microphone and a PC camera (optional). There is no special software for ELLUMINATE and it is compatible with NMCI. The price per seat is $1875 a course (not including textbooks). Organizations and/or students are expected to purchase their own books. If requested, NPS can provide textbooks and other support materials for a $200 fixed fee per course.
