Course Logistics
Rooms for all conference participants have been reserved in the Enclaves, formerly officer housing, located at NPS. If you require additional nights, please let us know.
Meeting Location: Courses are held at the
Center for Executive Education (CEE), located in Ingersoll Hall. |
The rate is $59.00 per night. These quaint three and four bedroom cottages are completely furnished, linens and housekeeping services provided. Participants will each have their own bedroom complete with television, telephone with voice-mail, internet port, and bath. Common living spaces, kitchen, dining area and living room are shared. The kitchen is fully equipped and a washer/dryer is provided for your convenience. Check-in for the Enclave is at the BOQ (Billeting) front desk located just inside the front door of Herrmann Hall. If you choose to stay off-campus, you will be responsible for making reservations and informing CEE staff of your decision. This will cancel the Enclave reservation making the room available for other participants.
Access to Base & Transportation/Parking
Access to the Naval Postgraduate School will require a DoD-issued picture ID. If you do not one, inform Center staff so special permission can be obtained through the base security office. Rental cars are encouraged and will add convenience. Due to heightened security requirements, taxis are can only drop off outside the gate and CEE is unable to provide shuttle service. Parking will be provided surrounding the Enclave area and you will find a parking permit inside your Welcome Packet upon check-in. Rental car drivers will need ID, rental car agreement and orders to gain access to the base.
Communication & Data Information
Phone, fax, secure phone, and computer/internet access are available. The campus does not have NMCI stations. However, you may access NMCI if VPN Client is loaded onto your laptop. Web outlook with your CAC card on CEE workstations is an alternative. Please let the CEE staff know prior to your arrival if you intend to bring a personal/business laptop for use. We will arrange for you to meet with the TAC ( Technology Assistant Center ) help desk located in room 151 of Ingersoll Hall to assist with connection.
