Objective: To discuss thermal imaging technologies and applications with the local remote sensing, research, academic, and government communities of interest. The proposed emerging technologies to be discussed will include night time imaging applications, and fire/disaster detection and response.
The morning session will focus on infrared technologies and their varied practical applications. The afternoon will focus on the use of thermal and low-light level imaging technologies for effective natural disaster response.
Conference guests will include Remote Sensing experts, Naval Postgraduate School representatives, and faculty and students from several California universities, as well as other national organizations and research facilities
There is no registration fee, however, registration for the workshop and for lunch is required due to limited seating at both.
The workshop will take place in the Mechanical Engineering (ME) Auditorium.
