The Global Center mission is to coordinate, integrate and deconflict selected international military education providers’ capabilities in accordance with Defense Security Cooperation Agency Guidance and OSD-P priorities. It is to provide centralized oversight and build cohesion amongst DoD international education programs. Specifically, the USD-P and DSCA desire to accomplish the following:

- Ensure international military training and education is consistent with and is in response to Under Secretary of Defense-Policy guidance and DSCA priorities;
- establish governance of quality education of I-MET and E-IMET defense security cooperation providers overseen by the Global Center;
- minimize duplication by synchronizing capabilities/funding; and
- expand target audiences to approved recipients to build trust and influence.
Crest Significance
Compass rose – A compass rose symbolizes the leadership and guidance provided by DSCA and the GCSC. The blue symbolizes the stability of DSCA.
Seven gold stars – The stars are a symbol of the seven continents of the world. Gold is the wisdom provided through education.
Oak leaves – Oak leaves symbolize the strength and endurance of the DSCA mission. Green is a symbol of the harmonizing of international education programs.
