Jason Hansen, Assistant Professor
![]() | Jason Hansen, , Assistant Professor, received a BA (2003) in Economics from Idaho State University and from the University of New Mexico an MA (2006) in Economic Theory and a PhD (2009) in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics. His doctoral studies focused on three urban water management issues: infrastructure, scarcity and conservation. Dr. Hansen’s current research interests apply micro economic theory to water resource and land management problems. His general interests include public policy evaluation and the role of efficient resource allocation in economic stability. Dr. Hansen joined the DRMI faculty in 2009.
